Power Projects
The Company owns two Thermal Power Plants each of 210 MW each at
Gandhinagar Unit 5 and Wanakbori Unit 7 respectively. The cost of
setting up of these two Power Plants is Rs. 1274 Crores. The
commercial generation of these two Plants has commenced in October
1998 and April, 1999 respectively. On an average, the Unit at
Gandhinagar runs at a PLF of 70% to 75% whereas the Unit at
Wanakbori runs at a PLF of 85% to 95%.
